Obituary
Helen ³Jean² Hope nee MacKeil of Oxford died after a lengthy illness at
Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Amherst on Sunday, October 27, 2013
surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Helen
(Weatherbee) MacKeil.
Jean was a long-time resident of Amherst and supporter of the Salvation
Army.
She is survived by three sons Bruce (Barb) of Georgetown, ON, Bill (Helen)
of Brampton, ON, Ross (Linda) of Moncton and two daughters Linda (Jim) of
Oxford and Ann (Chris) of Aton, ON; 15 grandchildren; 22 great
grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Hope Sr.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 1:30pm in
Amherst Cemetery with Captain Chad Ingram officiating.
Following the service a time of sharing and refreshments will be held at 62B
Havelock St, Amherst.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell¹s Funeral Home, 98 Church St.
Amherst (667-9906)
