Charles Edward Hamilton's wife, Mrs Percy Clarke was actually Lillian Blanche Bonn b. 1898 in Porter's Lake, Halifax Co.. She married Charles Edward Hamilton on 18 Oct 1919 in Halifax. Her parents William Bonn and Amy Hilchey. I'm not sure how Percy Clarke fits in the equation. regards, Penny

Hamilton - Winters
TRURO - A wedding of much interest to many friends in this district was
solemnized at St. John's Church of England on Friday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m.
when Rev. G. R. Thompson united in marriage Marion Millicent Winters,
daughter of Clinton Winters of East Advocate and the foster daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson of Conns Mills, to Edward Ritchie
Hamilton, son of C. E. Hamilton and Mrs. Percy Clark, Truro.
To the strains of the Wedding March from Lohengrin the bride came up the
aisle on the arm of her foster brother, Edward Thompson, by whom she was
given in marriage. She looked charming in a steel grey suit with pink
accessories and a corsage of pink roses.
The bridesmaid was Miss Carol McCarthy, niece of the groom. She was attired
in a light blue suit with ink accessories and wore a corsage of pink roses.
The best man was a friend of the groom, Guy McAloney.
The groom's mother wore a dress of rust taffeta and had a corsage of sweet
peas. The groom's gift to the best man was cuff links and a watch chain,
while the bride's gift to her attendant was rhinestone earrings.
While the register was being signed by the newly-weds, Miss Carol McCarthy,
accompanied by Miss Bertha Dunn at the organ, sang "O Perfect Love."
A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Foster McCarthy, 396 Pictou
Road, to about 40 guests. Miss Beverly McCarthy was in charge of the guest
book while lunch was served by Mrs. Dexter Delaney, Mrs. Vaughan Kenevator,
Evelyn Wally and Mrs. E. Fillmore. Mrs. Dexter Delaney served the bridal
party. Pourers were Mrs. Edward Thompson and Mrs. Lewis Steeves.
Following a short visit to Dartmouth and Chezzetcook, the newly weds
