OBITUARY: Hilda M. Bennett
Milton - Hilda Madeline Bennett, 63, Milton, Ont., formerly of Pereau, Kings
County, died Jan. 3 in Milton Hospital. Born in Port Greville, Cumberland
County, she was a daughter of Mabel and the late Wally[sic] Tibbetts. She
was a member of Milton Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband,
Warren; two brothers, Fred, Pereau; Lewis, Mississauga, Ont.; five sisters,
Marietus (Mrs. Harry Woolaver), Blomidon; Evelyn (Mrs. Lewis Gammon),
Pereau; Myrna (Mrs. Blake Fraser), Sarnia, Ont.; June (Mrs. Clarence Ernst),
Caledonia, Ont.; Louella (Mrs. Robert Schofield), Greenwich, Kings County; a
daughter, Marie (Mrs. Bill Harding), Milton; a son, Carol[sic], Brampton,
Ont.; six grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Laurie. The body
is in McKersie's Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral service will be 11 a.m.
Tuesday in Queensway Cathedral. Burial will be in Rexdale Cemetery. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
