NEVES, HAROLD A. - The death of Harold A. Neves of Bayswater, NB occurred on April 24, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Bayswater, NB, Harold was a son of the late Roy and Lottie (Allen) Neves. He was a life long resident of the Bayswater area. Harold had been employed on the Provincial ferries (Westfield) and various sawmills throughout his working career. He was a veteran of WWII serving overseas with the North Shore Regiment of the Canadian Army. Harold enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, George, Percy and Gordon. Harold is survived by his brother Lester (Norma) Neves of North Head Grand Manan, his sister Berenice Blizzard of Bayswater and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425) with visiting hours on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Brenan’s Bay View Chapel.
