NEVILLE, George Orville "Slushy" - 73, of Pictou, passed away peacefully
Thursday, February 15, 2001, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in
Pictou, January 28, 1928, he was a son of the late Willena and C. Harry
Neville, of Pictou. He was a member of St. James Anglican Church and choir,
volunteer firefighter (PFD), ambulance driver, ward counselor, member of
NSGEU and past president of the Kinsmen Club. He is survived by his wife,
Mary; sister, Pauline (Neville) Balfour; children, Shirley, Murray, Chari
and Denyse; grandchildren, Karyn Jourdeuil and Lindsay Bruce, as well as
several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at the St.
James Anglican Church, Wednesday, February 21, at1400 hours. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

The Pictou Advocate, Wednesday, January 6, 1988 - Jacqueline A. Parker, 67,
Fox River, Cumberland County, died Friday, Jan. 1, in Saint John. Born in
Fox River, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Ross) Lantz. She
is survived by two sons; three sisters, including ***Mary (Mrs. Orville
Neville), Pictou***. She was predeceased by her husband, Carvel; a brother,
Wilfred. Funeral was held Sunday, Jan. 4 at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro,
Rev. Eric Miner officiating. Burial was in Porterville [Port Greville?]
Cemetery.
