OBITUARY: Creta Blanche Bligh
Berwick - Creta Blanche Bligh, 88, of Berwick, formerly of Lakeville, Kings
County, died Tuesday in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Fox River, Cumberland
County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha (Lewis) Graham. A
graduate of Provincial Normal College, Truro, she taught school in the
Annapolis Valley area most of her life. She was a member of Wesley-Knox
United Church, Woodville, and the UCW. She is survived by two sons, Thomas,
Berwick; Graham, Dartmouth; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She
was predeceased by her husband, Emerson; five brothers, Marston, Roy, Dill,
Everett and Alva; two sisters, Mildred and Effie. The body will be in H.C.
Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick, after 2 p.m., today. Funeral will be 2
p.m. Friday in Wesley-Knox United Church, Rev. Paul Shaw officiating. Burial
will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to Wesley-Knox United Church.
