Yes, you are correct; he is gs/o James Noble Shannon Brown and Susanna Skidmore.

Thank you for the Obit.....I previously had the appropriate dates provided to me by his nephew. There is some confusion within various sources as to the proper spelling of Jessie Lea Whalen or Jessie Lee Wayland; I have see it presented both ways and still uncertain as to the correct version.
Hillaton,Kings County,N.S. was a long time location for many members of the James and Sarah (Franklin) Brown line.

Frederick William Brown was born was born 15 Jul 1880 at Hillation, Kings
County. It was his father, James Brown who was born in Parrsboro.

Frederick William Brown m/1 Jessie Lea Whalen of Woodside, Kings County on
24 Feb 1902. She died 4 Oct 1960.

Steam Mill - Fred Brown, 93, of Steam Mill, died Monday at Blanchard Fraser
Hospital, Kentville. Born in Cumberland County, he was a son of the late

(Mrs. Fred Lyons), Canning; Marie (Mrs. Larry Haughton), Allendale, Mass.;
Elsie (Mrs. Matthew Curran), New Hampshire; a brother, Roy, Hillation; a
sister, Nettie (Mrs. Harry Rockwell), Steam Mill; five grandchildren;
several great-grandchildren. The body is at the H.C. Lindsay Memorial
Chapel, Kentville, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev.
Dr. Freeman Fenerty officiating. Burial will be in Hillation Cemetery.
