He married Susan Ann Reece, b. 05 October 1871 in Wales,Great Britain,[6] d. 05 April 1933 in Joggins,Cumberland County,Nova Scotia,[7] interred 09 April 1933 in River Hebert,Cumberland County,N.S.,[8] occupation 1933 housekeeper.[9] Susan: Obituary: A wide circle of friends regretted to hear of the sudden death of Mrs. Susan A. Trask here today after a few hours illness. Mrs. Trask was one of the best known women of this community and was an active member of Mayflower Rebekah Lodge, No. 21, and also of the Loyal True Blue Lodge. She was prominent in the work of the Church of England and her kindly disposition endeared her to a wide circle of friends. Besides her husband, Mr.James Trask, she is survived by six sons and two daughters. The daughters are Mrs. Harmen Coleman and Mrs. Norris Greer, both of Joggins, the sons are William in Detroit, who is now on his way home,Charles, John, George, Thomas and Joseph, all residing in Joggins. There will be great sympathy with the family in their sad and unexpected bereavement. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. (William was alive in April 1933, when he was arriving home from Detroit for
his mother funeral, according to her obituary below. But most likely deceased
before 1962, since he is not mention as a surviving sibling in obituaries of
his brothers, Charles who died in 1967, Joseph who died in 1962, John who died
in 1977, and his sister Elsie, who died in 1974. William "may have"
died on 11-Jan-1972 (but his birth date in his death reg. conflicts with
FreeBMD above). Michigan Death Index lists:
