BROWN, Lloyd Alvin - 61, West Brooklyn, Kings Co., died March 14, 1999, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Greenfield, Kings Co., he was a son of Zilphia M. (Schofield) Brown, Avonport, and the late Clarence Brown. A resident of West Brooklyn for the past 30 years he was a carpenter by trade, and was employed at White Rock Woodworkers for 13 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Alwilda Mae Pinch; sons Cecil, Canning; Timothy, West Brooklyn; Gary, Petawawa, Ont.; brothers, Cecil, Laurie, New Minas; Dennis, Mount Denson; Phillip, Newport Station; sisters, Stella Veinot, New Minas; Marion Wilkins, Falmouth; Christina Brown, New Minas; Jean Harris, Greenfield; Faye Palmeter, Avonport; Glenice Misner, Chipman Brook; eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by son, Lloyd Jr.; daughters, Vicki, Judy Ann; brother, Walton. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service 2:30 p.m. Thursday in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Wolfville, Rev. Harold Beaumont and Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating. Family flowers only. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Diabetes Association or any charity.

Leota Mae Pinch 68 West Brooklym, Kings County, died Friday, April 1, 1988 in Eastern Kings Memorial Hospital, Wolfville. Born in Avonport, she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Mary A. (Walsh) Golar She was a life-long resident of West Brooklyn and a member of West Brooklyn Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Harding; five sons, Raymond, Kenny  and Graham , all of West Brooklyn; Bud, Wallbrook; Harold, Lower Wolfville; three daughters, ***Mae (Mrs. Lloyd Brown), West Brooklyn***; Charlotte (Mrs. George  Macaulay), Porter's Lake; Gladys, Wallbrook; a brother, Charles, Wolfville; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Alfred and Victor; two daughters, Jessie and Mabel; two brothers, Cranswick and William; five sisters, Madeline, Florence,  Elizabeth, Kathleen and Josephine. The body rested in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel Wolfville. Funeral was held Monday, April 4 in West Brooklyn  Baptist Church, Rev. Adele Crowell  and Rev. Harold Beaumont  officiating. Burial will be in West Brooklyn Cemetery at a later date.

hubby to be Lloyd Alvin Brown, s/o Clarence Edgar Brown, born Fox River, and
Zilphia May Schofield; gs/o William Eber Brown, born Fraserville, and Fanny
J. Sabean.

Middle name, "Alvin" is from the NSARM Vitals; Lloyd Alvin Brown, Jr., 30
March 1959 death

Alwilda Mae Brown - 69, of West Brooklyn, Kings County passed away Monday,
June 18 2007 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville
she was a daughter of the late Harding and Leota (Goler) Pinch. She had been
employed with William King of Avonport and was a dedicated wife and
homemaker. In her earlier years she enjoyed talking on the C.B. Radio with
friends and attending Bingo. She is survived by her children, Gary (Claude),
CFB Petawawa, Ontario; Cecil (Wanda), Canning and Timothy ( Laura), West
Brooklyn; four brothers, Bud (Jean), Wallbrook; Raymond (Pauline),
Wolfville; Harold, New Minas; Kenneth (Shirley), West Brooklyn ; two
sisters, Charlotte MacAulay, Halifax and Gladys, Aylesford; ten
grandchildren; one great grandson; several nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased by her husband, Lloyd; a son Lloyd Jr.; two daughters, Judy- Ann
and Vicki; three brothers Graham, Victor, Alfred; two sisters, Jesse and
Mabel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family
Funeral Home, Kentville and there will be no visitation by family request.
The funeral service, followed by reception will be held at 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, June 21 2007 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend
Barbara Cochran officiating. Burial will take place in the Greenfield
Cemetery, Kings County. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory
may be made to a charity of your choice. On-line inquiries may be directed
