Leroy Crowell, born Ward's Brook and Ella Mary McWhirter, born Apple River.
She was born sometime after the 1911 Censuses.

OBITUARY:
Mrs. Ella Mary Crowell, 80, widow of Andrew LeRoy Crowell, Kitchener, Ont.,
formerly of River Hebert, died yesterday. She was the daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Reuben McWhirter of Apple River. Surviving are one daughter,
Zita (Mrs. Ross Allison), Kitchener; one sister, Gladys (Mrs. Sidney
McCarther), Toronto; one brother, Charles McWhirter of Jolicure, N.B.; one
grandson and a great granddaughter. The body will be transferred to
Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst. The funeral service will be held at the
funeral home Thursday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Ralph Miller, with burial
in River Hebert Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Andrew LeRoy Crowell
River Hebert, April 10 - There passed away at his home here on Easter Sunday
morning, Andrew LeRoy Crowell, at the age of 63 years after a lingering
illness for the past two years. He was the son of the late William and Ella
Hatfield Crowell of Port Greville. He came to River Hebert in 1912 and
engaged in carpentry work here and spent two years recently following that
trade in Truro. For the past fifteen years he was interested in mining. He
was a shareholder in the Milner Coal Company and Manager and shareholder of
the Beech Hill Coal Company, a position he held until two years ago when ill
health forced him to retire. He is survived by his wife, Ella McWhirter and
one daughter, Zeta, who for the past number of years was on the teaching
staff of River Hebert School, but for the past year has been employed in
Moncton; also, one sister, Mrs. William McWhirter of Port Greville. In his
passing, River Hebert has lost a good citizen, one interested in the
advancement of the place - quiet, unassuming, modest and industrious. He was
a member of the Masonic Order. The funeral will be conducted at the home on
Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Burial at River Hebert Cemetery.
