Schofield, Robert Roy ³Bob² age 95 years, of Greenwich; passed away
peacefully at the Blomidon Court Shannex on June 8, 2013. Born in Port
Williams on October 3, 1917; he was the son of the late Archibald and Eva
(Corkum) Schofield. Bob work as a carpenter for the majority of his life.
Left with fond and loving memories are his children, Weldon Schofield of New
Minas, Ladene Weir (Darrell Tracey) of Grand Pre, Sheldon (Marsha) Schofield
of Hantsport and Eva Zintel (Mike) of Washington, USA; 6 grandchildren, 5
great grandchildren; brother Fay; sisters Edith and Alberta; also by several
nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his loving wife Luella (Tibbetts)
Schofield in 2003; brothers Earl, Dean, Ronald, Rex; sisters Vilda and
Evelyn. In keeping with Bob¹s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family
will be receiving visitors at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville
Chapel for an evening of sharing memories on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from
7-9pm. A family graveside service will be held at the White Rock Cemetery on
Friday, July 12, 2013 at 2pm with Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating. In lieu
of flowers, donations in memory of Bob can be made to the Heart & Stroke
Foundation (5657 Spring Garden Road, Box 245, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3J 3R4)

Obituary - SCHOFIELD, Luella Leona - Passed away Friday, July 25, 2003, at
home. Born in Port Granville [sic], Cumberland Co., she was a daughter of
the late Wylie and Mable (Bennett) Tibbetts. Luella worked at Hostess Foods
for 20 years, she was a member of the New Minas Seniors 50 plus, member of
the Roadrunner's Senior League Bowling Team, as well as the Greenwich United
Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert "Bob"; sons, Weldon
(Nancy), New Minas; Sheldon (Marsha), Hantsport; daughters, LaDene Weir
(Darrell Tracey), New Minas; Eva (Mike) Zintel, Seattle, Wash. Also
surviving are sisters, June (Clarence) Ernst, Caledonia, Ont.; Myrna (Don)
Bowling, Sarnia, Ont.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She
was predeceased by sisters, Meaurtis, Hilda, and Evelyn; brothers, Fred, and
Lewis. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday, July 27, in H. C. Lindsay Funeral Home,
568 Main St., Wolfville. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, July
28, in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Robyn Brown-Hewitt officiating.
Interment to take place in White Rock Cemetery. Family flowers only.
