CRICHTON, Douglas Alvin -
Douglas Crichton, born August 20, 1924, in
his 90th year, of Kingston Ontario
passed away in his sleep September
28, 2013, at Arbour Heights. He was the
son of Daniel Adams Crichton
and Alice Crichton. He is survived by his loving
wife, Violet, of 57
years, as well as his son Bruce and three daughters,
Darcie, Dawn and
Deirdre. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five
great
grandchildren, all living in the Kingston area. He worked at
Queen's
University as a Theology professor until his retirement. He was
an
active member of Chalmers United Church. His kindness to others,
love
of games, and friendly smile will be sorely missed by family
and
friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Chalmers United
Church
(212 Barrie Street, Kingston) on Saturday, October 5, at 3:00
p.m.
