OBITUARY: Freda May Clamp
Wolfville - Freda May Clamp, 78, of Wolfville died Saturday at home. Born in
Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Bruce and Pamela (Zwicker)
Spencer. For many years she operated with her husband a restaurant and later
a tobacco store in Wolfville. Surviving besides her husband, Charles
William, are a brother, Ralph, Wolfville. The body is in H.C. Lindsay's
Funeral Home, Wolfville, where service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Neil
Price officiating, with burial in Willowbank Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Charles William Clamp
Wolfville - Charles William Clamp, 69, of Willow Avenue, Wolfville, died
Tuesday at Eastern Kings Memorial Hospital, Wolfville. Born in England, he
was a son of of the late Charles A. and Alice (Shaw) Clamp. He operated the
theatre in Wolfville for many years and later Clamp's Tobacco Store. He is
survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Emma Clamp, Kentville; four brothers,
Jack, Kentville; Walter, New Minas; Eric, Vetters Crossing, B.C.; and
Albert, Sydney; three sisters, Florence (Mrs. Cornelius Brigley), Halifax;
Doris (Mrs. Gary Stewart), Glendora, Calif.; and Bertha, Kentville. He was
predeceased by his wife, the former Freda Spencer. The body is in the H.C.
Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville, where funeral service will be Wednesday at
2 p.m., Rev. Neil Price officiating. Burial will be in Willowbank Cemetery,
Wolfville.

OBITUARY - Bruce Burton Spencer
Wolfville - Bruce Burton Spencer died Thursday in Miller Hospital,
Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Bruce and Mary
Spencer. He is survived by his wife, the former Marion Louise Morris; two
daughters, Cecily (Mrs. Gerald Neilson), Idaho; Beverley, Kentville; two
sons, Sandy, Toronto; John, Wolfville; one brother, Ralph, Wolfville; one
sister, Freda (Mrs. William Clamp), Wolfville; five grandchildren and one
great grandchild. The body is at H.D. Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville, where
funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. Lloyd Archer, assisted by Rev.
Douglas Archibald will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
