Steck - The death occurred Saturday afternoon of Martha Ann, Wife of Frank A. Steck, Truro. The remains are resting at the Mattatall Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. (Amherst papers please copy)

Mrs. F. A. Steck, 80, Is Mourned
TRURO, Jan. 11 - The death occurred Saturday afternoon at her late residence, of Martha Ann, wife of Frank A. Steck in her 81st year.
She was born in Maccan, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Harrison. She was a member of First United Church and had been active in the women's organizations of the congregation until the last few years. For many years she has been a member of the Rebekah Lodge. Had she lived until January 24 she would have celebrated her Diamond Wedding anniversary, she having been married on January 24, 1894.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters: Freda J. (Mrs. Gordon Tomlinson) of Toronto; Georgie E. (Mrs. Manning Gertridge) of Kentville; Mabel L. at home; three sons, Walter A. of Halifax; J. Arthur of Truro, and Edgar F. of Regina, Sask.; two sisters, Mrs. G. W. Harrison and Miss Clara Harrison, both of Maccan, N.S. There also survive four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The funeral will be held from the Mattatall Funeral Home on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev C. Earle Gordon officiating. Interment will be in Robie Street Cemetery.
