1931-2013
Lloyd Hector Davis 82 years of Springhill and Advocate, formerly of Valley Road, Cumb. Co., N. S., passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Nappan . Born in Springhill, he was a son of the Late Ira W. and Dora Mabel (Bigney) Davis.
His life's work was spent in foundation construction work and mixed farming. Lloyd enjoyed his cars and his family.
He is survived by a brother, Harold, Springhill; sister, Dorothy Canning, Lynn, Mass.
Predeceased by a brother Everett and a sister Roma.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, (902 597 2361) from where visiting will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 25, 2013 followed immediately at 2:00 pm by the Funeral Service with The Reverend Wayne McCarther officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, N. S.
