Re: Ammi Hugh Brown s/o Thomas R. Brown

Thanks Gerry, I have David Augustus' death in the year 1961 so no doubt that would be he and his wife in Moncton and I will try the library in Halifax for their obituaries.

Margaret

Hello Margaret,

I don't have the obituary for David Brown, however the Halifax Chronicle Herald published obituaries for:
David A. Brown (Moncton) - obit. publ. on Oct 13, 1961
Mrs. David Brown (Moncton) - obit. publ. on Oct 26, 1973

There were 15 obituaries published between Jan 1, 1961 and July 31, 1992 for David Brown or Mrs. David Brown; however, if you think the two above might be the person whom you seek, you can get copies from the Spring Garden Road Library in Halifax for $5.00 each (or they may FAX them to your local library for free if you live in Nova Scotia).

Gerry

Thank you for posting the obit for my great uncle, Hugh Brown, which I did not have. Nor do I have much information about his brother David who is mentioned as a survivor, and would appreciate having an obituary for him if anyone has it. The daughter Lena mentioned in Hugh Brown's obit is actually Helena Clara, and she was married to Haldane Reynolds. Uncle Hugh's wife was Clara Jane Gould, born in River Hebert.

Margaret
