Constance "Connie" Jean Weatherbee

1917-2013
Weatherbee, Constance "Connie" Jean - 95, went to be with her Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ on August 22, 2013, at her home in Wallace Bay,
surrounded by loved ones.

Born in South Pugwash, she was the daughter of the Late Charles and Susan
(VanBuskirk) Weatherbee.

Connie was in fellowship with Christians who meet at the Pugwash Junction
Gospel Hall.  As a young lady she taught school in various locations in
Cumberland County.  She went on to become Post Mistress at the Pugwash
Junction Post Office until her retirement.  She was an avid reader and
enjoyed writing letters to many people across the country including some of
her former students.  Connie enjoyed sharing her life with her brother Ken. 
In her later years she moved to the home of Merlin and Jacqueline Russell
and their family in Wallace Bay where she lived up until her passing.

Connie is survived by cousins Jenetta (Garnet) Webb, Bible Hill; Ruby
MacLean, Truro and Laura Cook, Memramcook, NB.

Arrangements have been entrusted to W Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St.,
Oxford, NS (902-447-2167) where visiting hours will take place on Sunday
from 2 to 4 pm.  The funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm, Monday, August
26, 2013 from the Pugwash Junction Gospel Hall, 6120 Thompson Road, Mr.
David Hunt officiating.  Burial will follow in the Palmerston Cemetery.  

Those wishing to make a donation in Connie's memory may do so to the North
Cumberland Memorial Hospital, the Canadian Red Cross (Cumberland County), or
the charity of your choice.
