Re Ida Canning.
Publication " In Search of the Promised : The Cannon/Canning Family of Cumberland Couinty " by Odelite C. Juvelis and Lois K. Kernaghan, page 91 reads . .
"Ida. d.1926:marr. 4 Mar 1887,Brookville,aged 26, Charles W. Crossman (1863-1938), farmer. son of Samuel and Mary Crossman . In 1871 Ida was living in the household of her uncle , Jacob Canning (see below). Issue."
Obviously an error in year she was living in the household of my GGrandfather Jacob Canning . The info you posted
giving date as 1881 is correct as it shows correct or near correct age of my grandmother Margaret Canning .( She born 25 Apr 1875)
Ida Cannings parents are shown as Isaac and Jane(Pettis) Canning , he a brother of Jacob.
Was Ida Canning previously married to a Canning? She is shown as a spinster on her marriage to Charles Crossman
Can't find any info on children Albina, Beth and William.
