Re: Obit.: Cole, Willis Cecil

Cole researchers:

There’s now a discrepancy as to his birth date; 20 Oct 1929 if his obituary
is written correctly and accurately.

If he was born in Oct 1929, that would make him less than age 16 at the very
end of WWII, 11 Nov 1945.

Doing the math, Nov. 1945 ­ Oct. 1929 = 15 years, 11 months. A bit young to
enlist, even in the final months of the war.

Does anyone have proof of an earlier birth date for him?
