(October 20, 1929 - August 4, 2013)



Cole, Willis Cecil � 83, Tatamagouche, passed away August 4, 2013 in Lillian

Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche and is now in heaven. Born in French

River, Colchester County, he was a son of the late MacLellan and Margaret C.

(Tattrie) Cole. Willis worked for many years with Reid�s Wholesalers in

Moncton as a shipper and receiver and in retirement continued to work

providing night security for Coop Atlantic in Moncton. Willis enlisted for

service during WWII, but was injured during basic training which ended his

time in the military. Willis�s favourite Holy scripture was 1 Corinthians

13:10. He enjoyed attending card parties and playing crib and was a member

of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 64 in Tatamagouche. Willis was a

wonderful father, grandfather and loving man. Surviving are his daughter,

Wanda (Peter) Atkinson, Moncton; grandchildren, Amber (Andrew) MacLellan;

Crystal (Mike) Parker; Ashley (Joshua) Britton; grandchildren, Lily, Rose,

William and Grace; step-children, Kevin (Melissa) Trenholm, Beverly

Trenholm, Brenton Trenholm and Mary Trenholm; step-grandchildren, Jayson and

Aaron; sister, Phyllis Sutherland, Calgary; brother-in-law, Gordon Hillier,

Tatamagouche; nieces and nephews and special friends Denise and Mark and

their family with whom he lived for the past year. He was predeceased by his

first wife, the former Annie Elizabeth Vaughan; second wife, the former

Miriam J. Baker; sons, David and Wayne, daughter, Gloria;

Great-granddaughter, Sarah Esther Britton; brother, Ernest and his wife

Elsie; sister, Muriel Hillier. Visitation will be held from noon until time

of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in Coulter�s

Funeral Home, Tatamagouche, Pastor John Weiler officiating. Interment will

be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 in Elmwood Cemetery in Moncton.

Memorial donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Canada or North Shore Health

Services Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences can be

COLE, Annie Elizabeth - 66, Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, formerly of

Willow Street, Moncton, N.B., died February 9, 1996, in the home. Born May

6, 1929, at Fox River, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late

James W. and Sophronia (Leary) Vaughan. She was a former bookkeeper with T.

Eaton Company and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was actively

involved with the Moncton chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Surviving

are her husband, Willis Cecil; daughter, Wanda (Mrs. Peter Atkinson),

Moncton; sisters, Mrs. Bertha Smith, Centreville, Kings Co.; Mrs. Ethel

Kelderman, Fredericton; Mrs. Ida Rissesco, Windsor, Hants Co.; brother, Guy,

West Brook, Cumberland Co.; three granddaughters; several nieces and

nephews. She was predeceased by sons, David, Wayne; daughter, Gloria;

sisters, Dora, Jean, Myrtle, Mary, Amy; brother, Owen. Visitation 2-4, 7-9

p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, both in Cadman's Funeral Home, 114 Alma

St., Moncton, Rev. Kelvin Ironside officiating. Burial at a later date in

Elmwood Cemetery. Donations to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
