CROFT, Edith L. - 65, Gaspereau Mountain, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2003, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of Freda (Walsh) and stepfather, Lawrence Croft, and the late Norman Morine. Edith loved animals as well as cooking and baking. She is survived by husband, Basil; son, Terry; daughter, Jane (Russell Arsenault), Kentville; brothers, Robert, Tusket; Cecil, New Minas; Larry (Nancy), New Minas; George (Heather), Waterville; Donnie (Barb), Gaspereau; sisters, Hattie, Dartmouth; Margaret (Merton), South Alton; Marjorie (Harry), Sunken Lake; Ann (Laurie), New Minas; Elizabeth, Ontario; Rose (John), Gaspereau. She was predeceased by brother, Bedford. The late Mrs. Edith Croft is resting in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 568 Main St., Wolfville, where visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating. Interment to take place in Gaspereau Cemetery.
