I think this is the widow of Robert Pettigrew, s/o Osborne Pettigrew and
Julia Gertrude Elliott, both of Economy.
Osborne was a widower when he m/2 Julia on 31 Dec 1921 so I'd have to know
Robert's birth day to be sure of his mother.

Mary Helen Pettigrew
(May 14, 1929 - August 3, 2013)
Mary Helen Pettigrew 84 of River Bourgeois passed away Saturday August 3,
2013 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston.
Born in River Bourgeois, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Louise
(Pelerine) Fougere. A lady of strong faith, Mary was a devout member of St.
John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, and a member of the CWL; she was
also a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion
Branch 47, St. Peters.
In her younger years she was employed at Camp Hill Hospital, there she met
Bob; they married and made their home in River Bourgeois. Mary was last
employed in the laundry department of the Richmond Villa, St. Peters. She
will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be offered
Wednesday at 2 pm from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, River
Bourgeois with Rev. Dennis Lamey, presiding. Burial to follow in the Parish
Cemetery.
In memoriam donations to a charity of the donor¹s choice greatly appreciated

Hawkesbury.

OBITUARY: Mrs. Julia G. Pettigrew
Economy - Mrs. Julia Gertrude Pettigrew, 77, of Economy, died Sunday in
Riverside Nursing Home, Parrsboro. Born in Economy, she was the former Julia
Gertrude Elliott, a daughter of the late Albert and Susan (Marsh) Elliott.
She was a lifelong resident of Economy, a member of the United Church and a
choir member for many years, a member of the Economy Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are three sons, Frank and Royal, both of Economy and ***Robert,
River Bourgeois***; two daughters, Joan (Mrs. James Bartlett), Cranbrook,
B.C., and Janet (Mrs. Roy Howard), Toronto; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl
Willigar, Parrsboro and Mrs. Mabel McGowan, Boston, Mass.; 13 grandchildren
and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Osborne.
The body is at the McCulloch and Patriquin Funeral Home, Great Village.
Funeral and committal services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., from
Economy United Church, Rev. J. Lester MacFarlane officiating. Burial will be
at a later date in Economy cemetery.
