Peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday August 28, 2012 in her
89th year. Beloved wife of Bill Stobbs of Woodstock. Dear mother of Sharon
Zakos (Dave) of Bowmanville, Diane Parker OF Calgary and Donna MacAloney (
Gordon), Charles Stobbs (Nancy) of Aurora and Norman Stobbs of London.
Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchild. Predeceased by
her daughter Carol Gratton (Paul). Cremation has taken place. A private

MacAloney, Marie E. - 84, of New Salem, Cumberland County died Wednesday,
November 28, 2001 at Bayview Memorial Health Centre, Advocate Harbour. Born
in Advocate Harbour, she was the daughter of the late Plea and Elsie
(Mitton) Morris. She is survived by five daughters, Sylverine Brouder and
her husband, Randy, Woodstock, Ont.; Kathlene Mutch and her husband, Wayne,
Woodstock, Ont.; Ann Ward and her husband, Ralph, Kingston; Nora Neves and
her husband, Gerald, Dartmouth; Doreen Brouder and her husband, Roy, Truro;
five sons, Lawrence and his wife, Arlene, Advocate Harbour; Paul and his
companion, Marilyn, Woodstock, Ont.; ***Gordon and his wife, Donna,
Woodstock, Ont.***; David, New Salem; Archie, Calgary; four sisters, Juanita
Morris, Fox River; Ferne Pettis, Parrsboro; Clarabelle and her husband
Forrest, Port Greville; Edith Dowe and her husband, Ronald, Trenton, Ont.;
brother, Forrest and his wife Frances, Port Greville; 36 grandchildren;
several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Emmerson;
sons, Ardon, Roger, Harold; a sister, Glennis; a brother, Keith. Visitation
7-9 pm Friday at the Advocate Baptist Church, where funeral will be held 2
pm Saturday, Rev. Jack Palmer officiating. Burial in the Advocate Cemetery.
