they’re below again. I follow the Dow / Dowe families from the Parrsboro
Shore.

OBITUARY:
Joseph Edward Dodsworth of Athol, died Monday at All Saint's Hospital,
Springhill. He was 85 years of age and born in Parrsboro. A son, Arnold,
died in 1963. He is survived by his wife, the former Edith Dowe; four
daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Freeman Thibodeau), Hamilton, Ont.; Marion (Mrs.
Bill Stobbs), Woodstock, Ont.; June (Mrs. Maxwell Rose), Dedham, Mass.; Edna
(Mrs. Elmer Gilbert), Athol; six sons, Foster, Ottawa; Earl, Burlington,
Ont.; Joseph, Rothesay, N.B.; Merle, Brockton, Mass.; Robert, Branchton,
Ont.; Lester, Millis, Mass.; one sister, Grade Dodsworth, Bloomfield, Conn.;
one brother, William B. Dodsworth, Stewiacke; and 29 grandchildren. The body
is in Furlong's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at the funeral
home Wednesday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Harold Higgins. Burial will take
place in the Athol Cemetery.
