m/2 his widowed uncle, William Smith; ie, mother's brother-in-law so his
uncle became his step-father. No further info on William Smith or Charlotte
E. Sanford

Albion Benson Smith died 23 Mar 1955 in Dartmouth

Alice McC. Smith m/1 Joseph Allen Fage; issue of son, Donald Allison Fage;
no further info on Alice.

OBITUARY: Lee S. Smith
The death of Lee Stanley Smith, well known and highly respected resident of
Parrsboro, occurred at his home here on Thursday, January 10th, after a
lengthy illness. Sixty nine years of age the late Mr. Smith was a veteran of
Overseas service in the First World War. He is survived by his wife,
formerly Miss Blanche Vickery of Diligent River, and two daughters, Alice
Smith of Halifax and (Gertrude) Mrs. Fernald of Waburn, Mass. Also, one
brother, Albion Smith in Dartmouth. The funeral service, under the direction
of the Parrsboro branch of the B.E.S.L., of which the deceased was a member,
was held from his late home on Sunday morning, the service being conducted
by Rev. Carl Jones of the United Baptist Church. Interment was made in the
Baptist Cemetery.
