OBITUARY: Mrs. J. Howard Fulton
The death of Mrs. Sarah Ann Fulton, widow of the late J. Howard Fulton of
Bass River, occurred on Thursday morning in Sackville at the home of her
grandson, John Field with whom she had been residing for the past three
years. Formerly Sarah Ann Wilson of Parrsboro Shore, the deceased was 93
years of age. She had been bedfast for the three years. A former resident of
Parrsboro, Mrs. Fulton resided for some years in Bass River. She was well
known and highly thought of by many friends in both Cumberland and
Colchester counties. Her only daughter, by a former marriage, Mrs. George
Field of Parrsboro predeceased her some years ago. There is surviving one
brother, Rev. Elias Wilson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota who last summer
visited his sister, Mrs. Fulton and other relatives in Parrsboro and
vicinity after an absence of fifteen years from his native province. The
funeral service, conducted by Rev. W. Harry Rackham, was held in Allenville
Church on Sunday afternoon with interment in the Allenville Cemetery beside
the remains of her sister, the late Mrs. Edward Yorke of Parrsboro.
