OBITUARY: Laurie O. Brown
Word has been received by relatives of the sudden death of Laurie Osyman
Brown who passed away at San Francisco, California, where he has resided for
the past thirty-five years. Born at New Canaan, in this county, son of the
late Siddall S. and Albina Brown, he was 57 years of age on December 25th
last. Surviving are two brothers and three sisters - Oliver Brown of
Vancouver; Orison of Forrest Hills, Mass.; (Lottie) Mrs. Freeman Dowe of
Moose River; Grace of Rockingham; and Mae of Manchester, New Hampshire.
Also, one half sister, Stella of Cambridge, Mass.; and three half brothers
whose addresses are unknown. Interment was in the Anglican Cemetery in
Parrsboro beside his grandparents, the late David and Mary Gilbert with whom
he lived as a child.
