OBITUARY: Harris Whitney Allen
Amherst - Harris Whitney Allen, , 86, passed away at his home. He was a son of the late Henry and Margaret Allen of Fox River. He was one of the first deacons of the Baptist Church in Diligent River. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Amherst. He is survived by his wife, the former Abby Layton and one brother, Frank of East Saint John. The funeral service was held from the Smith Funeral Home, Parrsboro, conducted by Rev. H.D. Carlin. Interment was in the Baptist Cemetery at Parrsboro.
