Obit: MILLER, Mary Lorraine [née VIENNEAU]

Mary Lorraine Miller
(April 13, 1934 - September 27, 2012)
With much sadness, the family of Mary Lorraine Miller,78, of Dartmouth, announce her peaceful passing at the VG Palliative Care, 7A Halifax, on Thursday September 27, 2012.   Born in River Hebert, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Vienneau and Delma (LeBlanc) Vienneau.   Lorraine, was a retired teacher who taught for a number of years in the Dartmouth school system.   Lorraine, will be sadly missed by her husband Robert (Bob) Miller, of 57 years, her three brothers Charlie (Myrna) Vienneau, Herman (Rosemary) Vienneau; Walt (Cheryl) Vienneau; three sisters Effie (Greg) Peckham;Marie(late Dalton) Poff; Joanne (Dr. Don) Bouthillier. Aunts Flora (Vienneau) McKinnon, Tilda Hachey; Many nieces and grand nieces; nephews and grand nephews, numerous godchildren.   She was predeceased by her brother Henry Vienneau, in September 2011.   Thank you to all her doctors for their great care over the past few years. Also to her many friends
who visited her during her illness, at home and in the hospital. Many thanks to all the nurses, volunteers on the 8th floor of the VG & 7A Palliative Care at the VG. Thank you, to the clergy who came and ministered to her, those who gave her communion, this meant so much to her, she was a woman of deep faith.   Donations may be made to the Atlantic Clinic Cancer Research Unit, QE2 Foundation, 1276 South Park St, Centenial Bldg., Room 1-040, Halifax, N.S., B3H 2Y9, or to a charity of your choice.   There will be no visitation by Lorraine's request. The funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 1 Kuhn Drive, Dartmouth, on Wednesday October 3rd at 11am, celebrant Father Randy Doucette.
