Hi Gerry:
Possibility of a newspaper misprint.
Believe his ship was the H.M.C.S. Otter, a patrol boat which caught fire up
and sank off Halifax Harbor. Only 22 of the 41 man crew survived.
Not mentioned were his son and daughter. His widow later married Frederick
Jothan Clark. He was a partner in the firm, Clark and Morris Plumbing and
Heating, Parrsboro.
