Obit: Christopher Peter Anthony 1949- 2010

May 26, 1949 - October 16, 2010. Peter passed away peacefully in hospice in Prince George, B.C. after a brief battle with cancer. Peter was born and grew up in Halifax, N.S. More than twenty years ago, he made Vancouver his home; he moved to Prince George late last year. He is survived by his mother Ruth and sister Janet and predeceased by his father Keith. He is fondly remembered by uncles, aunts, and cousins, most of whom live in Nova Scotia, and sorely missed by his aunt Edna, nieces Patti and Kristi, nephew Gary, cousins Linda and Cathy, and longtime friends Andrea and Bonnie. Peter's many friends across the country will miss his sense of humour and thoughtful nature. A member and leader of the Vancouver HO Model Railway Club, Peter had a keen interest in model railroad operations and also spent many hours observing prototype trains. He was well respected by his fellow employees at Konica Minolta and Ciba Corning. A memorial gathering will take place in the Hemlock room of the Cameron Recreation Centre - 9523 Cameron Street, Burnaby, on Sunday, November 14, 2010, at 2:00 pm. Peter's friends and acquaintances are welcome...
