I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

May 6, 1995 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
McDORMAND, Irene Hickman - 86, Elmwood Drive, Amherst, died May 4, 1995, at home.  Born in Oxford, she was a daughter of the late David Hibbert and Harriett (Hattie) (Thornthwaite) Webb.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, having served on several committees.  After graduating from Addison Gilbert Hospital School of Nursing, Gloucester, Mass. in 1929, she provided private nursing care for several years.  Surviving are several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Dr. Thomas Bruce McDormand; daughter, Lois Ann McDormand; brother, John Hubert Webb; sister, Lois Stafford.  Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst.  Funeral 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church, Amherst, Rev. Byron Corkum and Rev. Ed Miller officiating.  Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford.  Donations to First Baptist Church organ fund or Rotary Camp, Tidnish, N.B.
