Mary Jane (Brown) Beaton of Joggins and Springhill

This was on the same page with Florence (Webb) Lewis' obit.

Her daughter, Norma Eleanor was m/1 Daniel Eldridge Winters on my lineage.
He was killed in the 1956 mine explosion.

OBITUARY: Mary Jane Beaton
Springhill - Mrs. Mary Jane Beaton, 72, 12 Athol Road, Springhill, died
Sunday in All Saint's Hospital, Springhill. Born in Joggins, Cumberland
County, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Lillian (Rutledge)
Brown. She was a member of St. Andrew Wesley United Church, Springhill.
Surviving are a daughter, Norma (Mrs. Frank Hunter) and a son, James F.,
both of Springhill; two brothers, Melvin and Frederick, both of Toronto; a
sister, Marguerite (Mrs. Frank Campbell), Truro; eight grandchildren; seven
great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James Frederick
Beaton, Sr.; a son, Osburne Kirk; a sister, Sarah. The body is in A.H. Brown
Funeral Home, Springhill, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. George
Mollins officiating, with burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
