I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:
Nov. 27, 1992 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
McDONALD, Jeremiah E. - 80, Springhill, formerly of Oxford, Cumberland County, died November 26, 1992, in Highcrest Nursing Home, Springhill. Born in Mount Pleasant, he was a son of the late John Henry and Keziah (Mattinson) McDonald. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Eva Wood, Cobourg, Ont.; two brothers, Eugene, Oxford; Joseph, British Columbia. He was predeceased by two sisters, Freda, Shirley. The body is in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, Oxford, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Blair Holden officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
