Regarding the husband and sons of Dorothy Jean Cochrane (nee Kent), I don't have a copy, but the Halifax Chronicle Herald published the obituary for
Byron Cochrane (Chilliwack, B.C.) - publ. on April 4, 1974
And the LDS has posted the following details from his death registration:
Byron Paul Cochrane
Birth: 26 May 1950 in Sackville, New Brunswick
Death: 29 Mar 1974 in Chilliwack, British Columbia
Parents: Edward Roy Cochrane & Dorothy-Jean
The Herald also published the following possibilities:
David Cochrane (Wolfville) - publ. on May 3, 1974
David P. Cochrane (Ottawa) - publ. on April 10, 1984
These probably won't confirm whether Edward Roy Cochrane is Roy Cochrane, but may lead to other discoveries.
Gerry

Try the NSARM Vitals.
1949 death of Gerald Edward Cochrane lists father as Edward Roy Cochrane,
born Nova Scotia; mother as Dorothy Jean Kent.
Hope this helps.
