Obit (1969) - Ivey Isabella MacLEOD (nee MATTINSON)

I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

Sept. 4, 1969 Oxford Journal:
   Mrs. Ivey I. MacLeod passed away Saturday August 23rd.  She was the widow of the late Alex H. MacLeod, Pugwash Jct.  Mrs. MacLeod, who was in her 88th year, was formerly Ivey I. Mattinson, daughter of Wesley and Cynthia Mattinson of Conns Mills.
   She is survived by a daughter, (Phyllis) Mrs. Warren Allen, West Pugwash, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two sisters, (Carrie) Mrs. Carolyn Letcher, Springhill; and (Sadie) Mrs. Charles MacKay, Creston, B.C.  She was predeceased by her husband, a son Howard, and four brothers.
   The funeral was held from Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash, on Monday, August 25th.  The service was conducted by Rev. Mr. Moore of Pugwash.  Hymns sung were, "The Lord is My Shepherd" and "Abide With Me".
   The pallbearers were Walter Cameron, John Britton, Rufus MacLeod, Clayton MacLeod, John Marshall and Douglas Parker.
   There were many beautiful floral tributes and numerous donations.
   W.I. Mundle was funeral director with interment in the Pugwash Junction Cemetery.
