Dec. 9, 1960 Hamilton Spectator (Ontario):
MATTINSON - On Friday, Dec. 9, 1960 at Nora-Frances Henderson Hospital, Harold Mattinson, 313 East Twenty-eighth Street, in his thirty-sixth year, beloved husband of Herma Brennan, dear father of Ellen and Patrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Mattinson, brother of Irving, Mrs. Stan Pearman (Leta), Hamilton; Mrs. John Gillespie (Irene), Mrs. Ralph Hounsome (Dorothy) of Kitchener; Mrs. Walt Strutton (sic) (Ada), Los Angeles, California.  Mr. Mattinson was a member of Kiwanis Club, Mount Hamilton, proprietor of Harold's Men's Wear, Concession St.  Resting at the Thorpe Funeral Home, 483 Concession St. from Saturday.  Service Monday 2 p.m.  Interment Woodland Cemetery.

NOTE:  I list Harold's parents as Frederick Irving Mattinson (1881-1964) & Lillian Mary Patton (abt 1887 - ____).
