I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

MATTINSON, Guy M. - 71, Little River, Cumberland Co., died Sunday, November 7, 1999 at his home in Little River.  Born in Mount Pleasant, Cumberland Co., he was a son of the late Charles and Anne (Mills) Mattinson.  He was a retired construction worker having worked with Municipal Paving for 12 years.  Beside his wife, the former Cecelia Fraser, he is survived by sons, Sheldon and wife Maxine, Moncton N.B.; Guy and wife Connie, New Annan, Colchester Co.; Eddy and wife Anne, Victoria, B.C.; Eric and wife Oletta, Airdrie, Alta.; Joe and wife Marsha, Amherst; daughters, Barbara and husband Gary Burley, Truro; brother, Charlie, British Columbia; sisters, Greta May, Stulz, B.C.; Amy Mattinson, Amherst and Sadie Dickie, Amherst; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by brother, Clinton.  Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, from 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m., both in
MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, 5075 Main St., Oxford, Rev. Kevin Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Donations to Mount Pleasant Cemetery would be appreciated.
