I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:
March 2, 1939 Oxford Journal:
The funeral for the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earle Mattinson, Eudora Leona, was held at their home in Rockley on Monday, Feb. 20th. The deceased was born on October 30th, 1938 and has been in poor health for some time. The end came as a great shock to the parents. She is survived by her mother and father and two brothers. Mr. R. T. Sellick, Pastor of church of the Nazarine, Oxford, spoke a very comforting message to a large gathering of relatives, neighbours, and friends. Hymns were "Precious Jewels", "Shall We Gather At the River" and "Safe In the Arms of Jesus". Interment was made at Birch Grove Cemetery, Mount Pleasant. Flowers: Sprays - Mother, Dad and brother and Rockley School.
Hope this helps someone,
Gerry
