I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

Oct. 21, 1960 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
AMHERST - The death occurred at Highland View Hospital Thursday of Mrs. Etta Eliza Lockhart of 24 Palmer Street.  She was 65, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mattinson of Beckwith.  She was an adherent of Trinity-St. Stephen United Church.  Her husband, David Lockhart, predeceased her in 1951.  Surviving are one son Harry of Oshawa; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Knight of Oxford and Mrs. Hattie Hollis of Springhill; also two brothers, Arthur of Beckwith and Harley Mattinson of East Leicester.  The late Mrs. Lockhart will rest at Furlong's Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held, conducted by Rev. A.H. Moore.  Interment in Highland Cemetery.
