Obit (1959) - Mrs. Raymond David WALKER (nee Bertha Annie _ MATTINSON)

I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

Mrs. R.D. Walker of Truro died Thursday after a short illness, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy S. Bell of Dartmouth. (then in handwriting - May 21, 1959).  Mrs. Walker had resided in Truro until the death of her husband in 1953.  She was a faithful member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Truro.  She was greatly interested in young people, and loved by all who knew her.  Mrs. Walker is survived by four daughters, Mrs. R.S. Bell of Dartmouth, Mrs. H.A. Beaumont of Barry, Ont., Mrs. J.F. Lynch of Drummondville, Que., Mrs. D.C. MacCready of Stellarton, NS; one son, Mr. F.E. Walker of Lethbridge, Alberta.  One son and one daughter predeceased her.  The body is resting at Mattatall's Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth, where funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m., Rev. Grant MacDonald of St. James United will officiate, assisted by Rev. W.E. Aitken of Stairs Memorial Church in Dartmouth.  Interment will be at the Robie Street
Cemetery in Truro.
