Grace Flora Farnell, 59, of Downsview, Ont., died Apr. 20 in York Finch Hospital, Downsview.

Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of Mrs Hazel (Pettigrew) Curry and the late Neil Currie. She was active with the Girl Guides. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Harold; a daughter; three sons; seven sisters, including Mrs Marjorie Linthorne, Stellarton; four brothers; a grandson. She was predeceased by five sisters; a brother. Funeral service was Monday, Apr. 25 in the A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, Rev. George Mollins officiating. Burial will be in Amherst Cemetery at a later date
