I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

Jan. 9, 1999 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
MATTINSON, Aubrey Francis - Mount Pleasant, Cumberland Co., died January 7, 1999, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst.  Born in Mount Pleasant, he was the son of the late Joseph Abner and Catherine Elizabeth (Dixon) Mattinson.  Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated the family farm in Mount Pleasant and worked as a carpenter in Hubbards and at the Canadian Rock Salt Co. Mine in Pugwash.  He also worked for the Department of Highways in Cumberland County for a number of years.  Surviving are sister, Amy Evelyn Mattinson, Mount Pleasant; two nieces; a nephew; a number of cousins.  He was predeceased by sisters, Bessie Marguerite Mattinson, Ellen Nancy Fiske, Vera Marie Geldart; a niece.  Visitation 1 p.m. today until time of funeral 2 p.m. today, both in Allen's Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, Rev. Lorraine Lambert officiating.  Burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
