I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

Nov. 3, 1988 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
SMITH, Margaret Sophronia - 56, Eastern Passage, died Tuesday in Dartmouth General Hospital.  Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Avaline Marshall.  She is survived by her husband, Floyd; a son, David, Eastern Passage; a daughter, Dorinda, Halifax; two sisters, Shirley Canning, Ardith Tabor, both of Springhill; a brother, John, Toronto.  The body is in Mattatall's Funeral Home, Dartmouth, with visiting 7-9 p.m. today.  The body will be transferred to Brown's Funeral Home, Springhill, with burial 2 p.m. Friday in Rodney Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
