Obit (1978) - William George MASTON

I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

William (Bill) George Maston, 85, died Sunday, November 12, 1978 at Highland View Regional Hospital, following a brief illness.  Mr. Maston, the son of the late George and Annie (Reid) Maston, was at one time employed at Enamel and Heating (Canada Car Foundry) and later was self-employed at painting automobiles and finishing furniture.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Amherst.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister; Reta, (Mrs. Merrill McKay) and three brother; Ellis, Winford and Aubrey.  He is survived by one daughter:  Marjorie, (Mrs. James MacSwain), of Amherst; one twin sister, Mrs. Mae Lang of Moncton; three brothers; Hanford (Happy), Simon, and Harold (Hal), all of Amherst; five grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.  Remains rested at Furlong's Funeral Home.  The funeral service was conducted from the funeral home Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. R.S. Dunn officiating.  Burial was in Highland
Cemetery.
