Obit (1997) - MacIntosh Cecil MacLEOD

I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

April 12, 1997 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
MacLEOD, MacIntosh Cecil - 90, Pugwash Junction, passed away April 10, 1997, in North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash.  Born in Pugwash Junction, he was a son of the late Hiram and Eliza (Piers) MacLeod.  He spent many years working as a farmer and carpenter and had been employed for over 25 years with W.I. Mundle Funeral Home, Pugwash.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and his life with them was happy.  He had worshipped at Pugwash Junction Gospel Hall for many years.  Surviving are his wife, the former Nellie Chase; daughters, Kathleen Stevens, Lower Sackville; Georgie (Mrs. Douglas Crawford), Truro; granddaughters, Beth (Mrs. Terry Boutilier), Pamela (Mrs. Stephen Brown), Peggy (Mrs. William Paterson), Mount Uniacke; Natasha Crawford, Truro; Mary-Jane (Mrs. Nino DeNicola), Halifax; April Crawford, Truro; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Neva Bishop, Truro; brother, Oswald MacLeod, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
 He was predeceased by son, Lloyd Avard; sister, Hazel Hansen; brothers, Percy, Cuthbert, Donald.  Visitation will be 2-4:30 p.m. today, funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, both in Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash, David Hunt officiating.  Interment will be in Eaton Cemetery, Pugwash Junction.  Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of choice.
