OBITUARY: Miss Annie Fowler
The death of Miss Annie A. Fowler occurred at her home here on Jenk's Street
on Friday afternoon, December 27th, at the age of 92. A daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Fowler, she was born at Wharton and had been a lifelong
and highly respected resident of this vicinity. She had many friends in town
and for years it has been the custom for a number of them to gather at her
home on the occasion of her birthday in April. Surviving are a brother,
Freeman Fowler, with whom the deceased resided, and a sister, Mrs. Moses
Whitcomb of Lynn, Mass., who has been here for some weeks caring for her
sister in her last illness. The funeral was held from Trinity United Church
on Sunday afternoon, at three o'clock, with the service conducted by the
pastor, Reverend W.H. Rackham.

OBITUARY: Freeman Fowler
The death of Freeman Fowler, 82, life long and well known resident of this
town occurred on Sunday, February 15th, at South Cumberland Memorial
Hospital here, after only a short illness. His only survivor is a sister,
Carrie residing in the United States. The funeral service, conducted by Rev.
J.W. Barbour, was held in the chapel of Smith's Funeral Home on Tuesday
afternoon, with interment in the United Church Cemetery.
