Penny lists the mother of Timothy Francis Brown as Mary C. Brown. The Massachusetts birth registration for Timothy Brown lists his mother as Mary (Creeden?) - that's perhaps where the "C" in Mary C. Brown came from. Note, however, that I have not been able to verify the spelling of Mary's maiden name.
Penny, do you recall where you learned that Timothy F. Brown's middle name was Francis?
Gerry

Timothy Francis Brown was born 14 Feb 1887 Melrose, Mass.s/o Patrick and Mary C Brown from Ireland. Timothy F died on 5th Nov 1970 Melrose, Mass. He was an accountant for a Leather Company. In the 1940 census the family lived in Malden Mass. The two sons Robert W and Paul were aged 11 and 6 respectively.
Son-Robert W was born 17 Jun 1929 Melrose, Mass & died 24 Jan 1995 in Melrose. I haven't found any details re: Paul other than he was born abt 1934 ( 1940 census).
Timothy shows as single from 1900-1920 census. In 1930 he and Edyth are married. According to the 1930 census records Edyth was 23 when they married and Timothy was 37. Edyth's immigration date recorded as 1919..Robert W was just a baby in 1930 census...
