Hi Gregg,

Sorry, according to the birth registration for Timothy F. Brown (h/o Edith MacDougall), he was the son of Patrick Brown and Mary (Patrick & Mary were both born in Ireland).

Gerry

Gerry
Any idea if Timothy Brown is tied into any Cumberland Brown lines?
Greg

I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:

Feb. 16, 1994 Oxford Journal:
Melrose, Mass. - Edyth M. Brown, 91, died Sunday, Feb. 13, in Melrose, Mass., following a brief illness.  Born in Oxford, she was the daughter of the late Elisha B. and Eva B. (King) MacDougall.  She was a long-lime member of the First United Methodist Church, Melrose, where she had resided for the past 52 years.  She is survived by two sons, Robert, of Melrose; Paul E., Cambridge, Mass.; one sister, Constance E. MacDougall of Pugwash, formerly of Oxford; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.  She was predeceased by her husband, Timothy F. Brown.  The funeral will be held Wednesday morning under the direction of the Robinson Funeral Home Inc., Melrose.  Rev. Dr. Robert M. Huston will conduct the service.  Interment will be in the Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.

NOTE:  The SSDI lists her as Edyth M. Brown; however, her NS delayed birth reg. lists her as Edith Isabella MacDougall.

Hope this helps someone,
Gerry
