I don't think the following obituary has been posted before:
Sept. 6, 1996 Halifax Chronicle Herald:
MacDONALD, Fraser Maxwell - 70, Port Howe, Cumberland Co., died September 5, 1996, in North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born at Port Howe, he was a son of the late William and Sarah (Mills) MacDonald. Surviving are his wife, the former Leora Mason; daughters, Wendy (Mrs. Richard White), Maxine (Mrs. Bill O'Neil), Port Howe; son, Mark, Pugwash; sister, Jennie Chapman, Amherst Shore; two granddaughters; two grandsons; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Gerald. Cremation has taken place. No visitation, service or flowers by request. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
